I almost got the GTVs, but decided on the Nakayama GTRs instead. The Nakayamas look identical to the SSRs. The Nakayamas are $160 each or something like that at Victoriatire.com

Hey Chinkzilla, thanks man, the wheel are TMW GTV Hyper Silver, I have a local shop who order it for me it cost me 1081$ CDN taxe in ( 665$ US ) pics were taken from a 1 ccd digicam, I'll prolly take some picture with my standard camera later this week. The first time I saw those wheel it was at that site http://www.wheelmax.com I briefly check but they didn't seem to carry it anymore.

Thanks, this is just my first prototype, I did it to learn, it was a ***** to make and fit, but now I have the template and learn few lessons, so I'm looking for new alu or ss grill, If I can find other nice pattern then I'll make different models.

Hey Bryan, thanks and for the house the worst is behind us now, my insurance will cover all the lost. Maybe I can fabricate the grill and you can sell it, I'm seriously thinking of starting a production in the next few weeks so we can sell it to our fellow maxima enthousiast. Grille looks hot doubla. Definately worth the wait. How is it attached to the stock grille though?

 

Hi Krazyd, thanks for the good comments. I used a thin galvanised wired, I attached the grill from the inside engine bay between the radiator and the bumper, that one was a b*tch. I should have attached it from under the car just need to remove the plastice cover and more space are available for the hands. I made many scratch to my hand, it took my about 30-45 minutes to fixe it. I think when you see it for real it is even nicer than on the pics, cuz those one were taken with a digicam which are not the best for pics. I'm working on another one, I ordered a new plastic thingy that surround the grill and I will have it chrome and perhaps the grills too, the one on my max was painted with chrome paint and then put many coats of clear.

Did you have to remove the emblem and reattached it to the grill or you cut the grill to fit around the emblem!

So when are you going to mass produce?!?

 

Hey Green_2, I removed the emblem, attach the grill on the bumber grill, then put back the emblem at the same place but on top of grill, I used a multi purpose construction adhesive to stick the emblem with the grill.

I'm actively searching new grill material in Alu or SS, so I'll have choice to wether anodised the Alu in different color, or have it chrome or painted and applied clear coats. I live in Canada so hopefully if I find the type of grill I'm looking for then I can produce those for cheaper because of currency exchange, I'd like to sell both grill for around 100$ CDN ( 55$ US ) or less.
