Need advice on wheel trade

Ok, here's the situation. I have the stock 6 spoke 2000 Maxima SE wheels and a set of Advanti Racing wheels. Next Saturday, I'm getting the Skyline brakes which have fairly big calipers. The stock wheels don't fit (this was checked) due to the small offset. My Advanti wheels fit with 15 mm spacers. This guy at the dealership (my dealership does all my mod work, they're really cool) has a 4th gen with O.Z. F1 Plus wheels (I saw them on his car). He would like my Nissan wheels. He's offering the O.Z. F1 Plus wheels (two 17x8 on the front and two 17x9 on the rear) with brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE730 (two 225/45ZR17 on the front and two 245/40ZR17 on the rear).

The O.Z. F1 Plus have a perfect offset for the skyline calipers (no need for spacers).

Now you may ask why I need two sets of wheels. One would be for Solo I racing, the other for everyday use. My current tires are Pirelli P6000 and I hate them so the Potenzas would be a nice change.

So to make a long story short, he's offering me the O.Z. F1 Plus wheels with the Bridgestone Potenza RE730 for my 6 spoke Nissan Maxima SE (2000) wheels plus $700 CANADIAN (that's about $440 US).

Anyone think this is a fair trade?

There's a picture of the O.Z. F1 Plus wheels at:

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Axel

I think it is pretty fair trade, but may also depend on how much tread his tires have. This may have as much as 300 effect on the price..

The tires are brand new (one month old) so the tread is just as new (he hasn't done burnouts on them) . I saw them myself on the wheels. He says he's thinking of buying Toyo Proxes.
