Depends on your driving habits, and if your wheels are torqued on properly. I had 18k, before 2k1 went bye, and no rotor warpage problems, smooth. I also braked hard alot, but I gave the brakes time to cool as well between hard braking.
Re: 2K2 Owners, do you suffer from Brake Judder?
I thought warpage is a 2k - 2k1 thingy.....b/c the pads generate too much heat and the rotor is too small and soft. I have mine @ 20k and my front rotors are majestic blue.
I think it would happen again soon or later even though they told me that they now use a new brake pad.

I had the same problem. Brakes shudder from the day I picked it up. I never wanted to brake, because the car would shake, like warped rotors. The dealer told me to wait a few thousand miles. Maybe there was some rust build up on the rotors. He said if it didn't go away, they would cut the rotors. It didn't go way after 3000 miles. At my first oil change, I told the dealer, they resurfaced the rotors and the problem went away. Brakes are nice and smooth now. Much better. I also had the accelerator pedal recall fixed at the same time.
be careful...if it warped before...there's high chance to be warped again. our FF is just too heavy for the front brake.

1.) Shortened the life of your rotors
2.) Gave you a band-aid fix that is really cheap for them and not the best solution for you
3.) Potentially making you replace your rotors at your first brake job. You can usually get 1 or 2 brake jobs without having to replace the rotors (just cutting them).
Every time you a cut a rotor you are taking life away from them. The thinner the rotor is (after having them cut for example) the more likely it is to warp. All of the intense heat that is generating by your brakes has the ability to warp a thin rotor (sometimes even a new rotor).
I think your best bet would be to have the rotors replaced completely...it may save you some headaches down the road.
