Tranny problems for cars built in 99

I wonder if there is anybody on this forum who has Maxima built in 1999 and DOES NOT have slipping tranny problems?
My car was built in Sep.99 and I don't feel like my tranny slips...may be I'm not good enough for that...but everybody here's talking about tranny's TSB and replacing TCM...and looks like 100% of cars ("early birds") must have the transmission serviced.
Do I get something wrong here?

Thanks.

I have a May 99 build... bought June 99 - one of the first around

and mine just went 3 weeks ago.. and I had the first TCM replaced. I think the fact that I hardly ever shift at high RPM is what saved it so long. The soft shift is the problem.. You have the delay that will kill your tranny under certain conditions. No doubt about it.

If you never really have to merge under hard acceleration and so on, your tranny will be fine for a long time. That hanging 1-2 shift is what eats away at your tranny. obviously you havent hit that delay very much. If you continue to drive the same way, you may be fine.

Just don't let a 16 year old drive your car out of warranty I promise you he could kill your tranny in an afternoon. Kidding aside that is not an exageration.
