(the 2k2s have auto up and down on both driver and passenger windows)

to put the window down a little you barely press the button and to auto down you press it till it clicks--mine is going all the way down (auto downing) when I barely tap it--I got my alarm installed with the windows option but the windows worked fine after it was installed, so if I go to the dealership to get this fixed are they gonna give me crap about my alarm? and if they fix the problem, will that option on my alarm still work---any help is appreciated

The dealer will probably just order a switch replacement. If the power window wires were tapped in the door instead of under the dash, they may not be too happy, but will go ahead and replace the switch since they are there(unless they can pop the switch off without taking the door panels off...I have not tried this yet).

Worse case scenario is that the new switch does not fix the problem. Then, they may point to the alarm and scream "void".

Don't tell them about the aftermarket alarm system when you take it in. Simply hand them the key only.
