Rubber anyone?

Say gang, I've searched the threads and read everything I can from tirerack.com but need some final opinions. I'm in the market for a set of 18" rims and am looking for the best year round tire. I can't seem to find anything that can touch the Pilot Sport A/S for wet, dry and snow performance. Am I stuck with paying $200+ each for this tire or is there anything out there that compares for less. I can't afford 2 sets of tires (1 for winter, 1 for rest of the year) so this looks like my only option. Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance!

There is no such thing as an 18" that will do well in the snow. Go cheaper than Pilot Sports and save some money for 15 or 16" snow tires on steel rims.

This is no lie.
