if you have a 4th gen, then your badges are probably all chrome. all the se badges on the 2000-2001 maximas are smoked out and wont match. you probably want a chrome se badge to match your 4th gen badging. check out the 2002 maxima se badges, or maybe se badges from sentras.

My car is debadged and I think it looks good. I left the Nissan sign and thats it. Sorry but I'm not gonna sell my emblems though, can't see myself parting with them.

Badge removal

How do you remove the badges?
Is there a hole underneath?
How about paint-fade leaving a image of the badge?

In other words, how do you get them off so you can't tell they were there?

Thanks,
FredA

Yeah, the 02 badges are chrome. I didn't realize they smoked the 00 and 01...must look cool. Subtle differences...

Give Dave B. a call 512-225-7424. Just get one new from him...that way it has not been exposed to weather, wax residue, etc.

There are no holes behind the Maxima and SE logos.

I used a heat gun and a fishing line. Heat up the emblem then slowly pull the line behind it. Once they're off wash that part and wax. There's no type of paint fade, it looks good.
