2k2 Stabilizer link noises
2k2 Stabilizer link noises
I was at the dealer yesterday to complain about a noise that sounds alot like what the thread at:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....lizer+and+link
describes. During my search, I noticed this was the only link that came close, which surprises me as it seems to be a common problem since my service guy knew what I was talking about before I finished describing the symptoms. I asked him if I can look forward to changing these things every 20,000 kms and he didn't have a real answer for me. Anyone care to enlighten me on whether Nissan has a design flaw that they refuse to correct (until the next model?) or maybe I just got a defective part?

I seem to have some strange suspension noises comming from my car too when I hit potholes and little bumps. I am not sure where it is comming from.
I am taking my car to the dealer tomorrow, to get my clutch fixed, and I will ask them too look at my suspension too. Talk about brand new car (less than 3 months old) and Nissan quality.

I have a similar thing with my car.It almost sounds like a sway bar link or a bad cv joint. When going over small bumbs in concesion or pot holes I can hear it in the front left of the car and feel it in the steering wheel.Hope its something simple and can be taken care of easy without to much hassel.
