5th gen preludes are very very fast.. even the tiptronic ones are fast too. I routinely used to race a friend's auto 5th gen Lude up to 120mph, after about 80-90mph, he just leaves me behind like i'm standing still.. But thats when my car was stock.

is powerbraking smthg like revving the engine up while holding the car in gear and foot on the brake pedal..then letting it all go? Why 1700rpm dude? I'd do it til 3000

I don't know what would be best RPM for Max for power braking (aka torque braking). But for autos, it gives you "multiplier" effect on torque. Less time to lock up TC, and less bogging.
The only reason I can think of not doing it at higher RPM will have to do with traction. 1700 sounds pretty low for stock though.

Well the automatic one you should walk it in an auto Maxima, Desi what do you have in your Max for it to be 1000 pounds heavier than the Lude. The weight difference should only be a few hundred pounds?

I haven't had the chance to do that yet hopefully soon but maybe some of you have
how do you guys think a 2K2 would hold up against a 5 Speed lude

2002 autos own Preludes, they are a better match for 95-01 5 spds, but have a lower trap speed in the quarter mile than they do.
