I know this has probably been covered before but I couldn't find it in a search.

I just got a 2k2 today. Is there anyway to turn off the DRL's?

If not, what size are they so I can replace them with Super White bulbs. I can't stand those yellowish looking bulbs.

 

2k2 Maximas don't have them.... you would have to turn the light on yourself. Unless you are talkin' about the orange courtesy lights...

DRLs are required by law on new vehicles sold in Canada. Most manufacturers, including Nissan Max 2k2s, implement DRLs by de-powering the high beams (not the HIDs). For safety reasons I would not disable them (you can be seen from a long distance particularly when passing) but you can change the bulbs.

 

I guess your right. What are the small lights just above the orange lights. I just assumed they were DRL's. I notice they are on when the lights are on but I can't figure out their purpose. I know they look fugly sitting right next to those awesome HID's!
