New Best Times-I'm Pleased!

ok, went to the track with a buddy of mine (once again, the only maxima at gateway in st. louis). anyway, perfect weather, felt good, ran a new best. here's the numbers:

1st run
R/T .76
60' 2.404
330 6.662
1/8 10.099
mph 72.11
1000 13.029
1/4 15.511
mph 91.55

2nd run
R/t .209
60' 2.382
330 6.654
1/8 10.113
mph 72.06
1000 13.069
1/4 15.568
mph 89.97

As you can see, the first run was better, I raced my friend in his Focus (beat him by 2 seconds). I really like the trap of 91.5, but the 15.5 et isn't bad either. The second run started better (i redlighted but its test and tune) and i started the race better. but for some reason i shifted from 1st into D, thats why the lower trap and slower times after the 330. I think if I hadn't messed up the second run I might have broken the 15.4's. But anyway, I'm just excited, and thought I share with you guys. Oh, BTW, 2k1 autoMAGIK with only a berk intake.

My traps were, in 3 runs, 93.33, 93.2 and 91.9 , that when I ran a 15.1, and I just left it in 3 and didnt manually shift !

I think im gonna have to head up to the track soon, maybe this tuesday for test and tune. Im hoping for somewhere around 14.7, which is good enough to wax 2k2 autos

That is until they make a Y pipe and headers for us. The moment my Warranty runs out, which will be soon, sine I already have over 5K miles in 2 months..... Can you say 100 Shot, .... a Tuned Nitrous Kit for me ..... Dont be too confident J/K !

I wanted nitrous, but I think im gonna stay away from it now. My friend BruGuyMax had a 100 shot in his 97 SE and fried 2 of his rings b/c two injectors went out on him.

If you only have an berk intake and I have a manual with a "hybrid" intake and Y pipe(in transit) I guess I should be looking to hit 14's right? I think I will be disappointed if I am not in the 14's then again I was looking at the times posted by MY 4DSC with nitrous....got me thinking.
