Different 2000 SE models?

Hey all.. Are there different 2000 SE models?
I heard there is a base SE, has 16" alloys..
and a Loaded SE with 17" wheels?

If so, what are the different types and exactly what are the differences?

Any help would be great.

I don't know for sure but I have seen a few 2000 SE's with the 16" rims that come on the GLE's. I guess one of the packages (leather, etc.) must add the 17" rims. I had a 2000 SE until recently and it was pretty much loaded and had the 17" rims. I don't think thats the case with the 2k2's. I think the only car the 16" rims come on with them is the "rare and hard-to-find" GXE.

17's

were part of the Comfort and Convenience package (at least I know they were in 2001).

Early models of the 2000 SE had the 16" alloy 5-spoke rims. The 17" 6-spokes were late availability. I have the 16" rims and the C&C package, so the 17's aren't a part of a package. Mine's from July 1999.

Early in the 2000 model year, the SE's even with the C&C package came with 16" wheels. Later in the model year the C&C package came with 17"

jjs,

According to that site, you're right..

"New 17-inch wheels and V-rated tires, offered as part of the SE Comfort and Convenience Package, enhance handling and give a performance look."

Nissan Dealerships says that 17" wheels are standard.. blah

Thnx for all the info!

Another difference is the Fed Spec vs. Cali Spec engines.

Are you asking about fed vs. cali spec? If so - then only the 00 models came in two configurations. The 01-02s are all cali spec. and I should add that this was the case for all 00 maxes not just SEs.
