Front End Thumping noise, Please Help
I have a little over 9,000 miles on my 2K2 Se 6 speed. Just last week I starting hearing a mild thumping noise from under the front end, every time I hit a small bump. It happens at all speeds, all gears and with brakes applied and not applied. It just sounds like something is lose between the front wheels and the fire wall. I'm gonna put it up on ramps and see if I can find something loose. I have a Courtesy strut bar mounted, but it's tight, and has plenty of clearance between the bar and engine. I don't want to take it to the dealer unless I can't find anything. Has anybody out there had this problem? I'd appreciate any help on this issue. Rather than that, my car has been perfect! Thanks!
