I did and didn't fair too well. I think most of it was my driving. I got a ton of wheel hop in first. By then he was already a couple of cars ahead. Very nice truck, but a ton of $$$$. Guess I need to practice my launches more.

 

those were not supercharged...Lightnings are.

I know that doesn't make you feel better.

 

Actually the 2002 are supercharged! That makes me feel a little better. I am pretty sure that I saw the supercharged logo on the back. Atleast that is what I am telling myself.

Sorry..well, you should not feel bad at all then...that thing has almost 100 hp on you and a crud load of torque...

I agree, mid $30K before adding options...for that kind of $$$ it BETTER move!

 

It's a slightly detuned(20hp?) Lighting and the Lighting will beat a C5 with an average driver.

Man those HD edition F150 gas tanks must be HUGE!

 

Man I kept getting lined up with one of those at the track ugh.. It was a LADY driving and she was running consistent mid 13's. Well at least with my slightly better reaction times and my top end power I was almost catching up by the end of the 1/4... ALMOST

 

Beat a C5 in a pickup j/k, those things are fast as hell in a straight line, but once a corner comes up u screwed really badly

 

They actually don't handle too badly - one guy at our local autox brought it out a few times and it turns in some pretty decent times for an F-Stock vehicle. They do have 295's all round which helps..

 

I got walked on very embarrassingly by a silver lightning. I punched it, split second later so did he and he kept gaining and gaining. They great, by why do they come stock with altezzas? (the new ones anyway)

 

The new HD F150's are awesome.. 20's , a blower and lots of room.... .... My kind of truck !
