WOW !! .. I didnt think the thread would go that long . Thanks for the complimenst guys.... Price was 90.00 including shipping....Got it on Ebay... Retails for about 225.00 online sites..... HKS to me is a rip off, its only a rear section, and the stock rear section, with any universal, will produce the same result, but to each his own.......I dont get an annoying drone, I get a slight one at about 60 MPH, but once I hit 65, you wont even hear it........Compliments all the way, people seem to like it........ Powertech makes the same muffler with dual 3" tips..........I dont have a Kit, and am not a fan of them, but If I ever got the stillen, it could be tucked into it, with some custom work, but Im not looking for a kit

Thanks for the comments guys.... Sorry I took so long getting the clips up !... Thanks to Leftcoast for video...and Russ for hosting it !

You're better off getting a recommendation from a reputable muffler shop, NuJerseyDrive. There are a lot of options to choose from.

If you don't know of a reputable muffler shop in your area, go back to the Magnaflow site and use their dealer locator to look some up.

The bottom line is, you could pay for a Y-pipe with the money you'd save purchasing a Powertech instead of an HKS.

Let's get real here, people. If you were modifying your exhaust system from scratch, all you had to spend was $400 to $500, and you had narrowed your choices down to an HKS rear section or a Powertech and a Y-pipe (assuming a Y-pipe was available for your car), how many of you would opt for the HKS?
call me crazy but i'd opt for HKS.... but then again..HKS is only rear-section only..

dude i hate to be the one to point this out, but the muffler is crooked. might want to place a level on it and check the idiot that put on mine, dropped the oem muffler while taking it off. now there is a big dent on the oem muffler tip

BTW BIGDOGJONX is the first member to put the powertip on his car

I have mentioned 50+ times that Big Dog suggested it to me .. I took the PICS after I put my RSB on, so I twisted my hanger on the muffler a little,,, dont worry, it's straight now.., . If you dont believe me , email Big Dog....Oh, and it's a POWERTECH MUFFLER ,,,,

Hey Kloogy, at least you don't have a vice-grip wrench hanging from the bottom of your car...

Vice grips increase traction especially when clamped onto a sway bar...

I have the timeslips to prove it...

How does the GReddy EVO sound compared to the Powertech? If I got the powertech for my 2k, would it sound something like yours Kloogy, or would I need to remove the resonator or add a y pipe or b pipe?
Would the powertech fit together with the stillen b pipe?

By the way, that sounds greeeaattt, Kloogy!
Thanks

Is this the Powertech you have Kloogy? It would be nice if this guy
put either 3" or 4" in the auction.

Yup, thats the one. I got it from someone else, I just dont remember who. Email him and ask, but usually they are 4" tip ones, the 3"s are not too common....

It's hard to tell from a sound clip. But I'd say they sound pretty much the same.
