I'ts all good though...
Like I always say...It's better to have raced and lost than never to have raced at all.

Been there done that.

115-140+ mph though 3-times. God damn MF took me like I was standing still at 115+mph. Daaaaaaammmmmnnnn, that thing was fast!

Sure wish I could afford the insurance on one for a toy.

This was from a standing start. He had me by a car and a half by the 2-3 upshift.

With 70ish hp more at 60ish mph that's NOT something to about.

Not to mention the TORQUE difference of the LS1 vs. the 3.5VQ.

I had a 98 WS6 TA up until last Saturday and while the Max is fast it isn't in the same league as the LS1. Don't get me wrong, I love my Max but you can't beat American muscle.

My 17 year old friends parents just bought him a 1999 Camaro SS 6-speed for 18k. He gets free gas, free insurence, free car, free mods.. It's NOT fair! Anyways he took me for a ride in that thing and had the traction control off...and...DAMN. Well that thing just sat there and spun and then took off. We were up to 72mph within seconds.

When I get my 5-speed conversion I was going to be the fastest car in my school next to an SVT lightning...now I've been bumped to #3

Just get a '96-'01 SVT Cobra, 4.30's, Longtubes, exhaust, and and some tuning and you'll be laying the smack down on LS1's . Trust me, I've got a '98 and so far only 1 LS1 car has beaten me. And it was heavily modded...

Oh...I'd get one in a heart beat...that's my dream car, but it's my parents call right now, and the Max is a great car and is plenty quick for me when It can hang/beat 70% cars on the road. (80% when I convert to 5-speed )

When I graduate from college in a million years i'll be getting a Cobra hopefully. When paired with some nice flow's, they sound like a huge alien ship bringing wrath upon all

BTW, Kloogy, just listened to your exhaust.. It sounds awesome, very aggressive.

As much as I love my duals, they would probubly sound better on your car with .5 more displacement.
