help with polished aluminum rims...

i noticed that i have little spots all over the lip of my rims...kinda like water spots. I tried Mothers Aluminum Polish and it didn't work. Anyone else have this...and fix it?

Can you explain the spots in more detail? If they were water spots then it wouldve come off. If they are spots like heat marks, they are not coming off.

I've had those too. They are the primary disadvantage of machined wheels. If mothers won't get it off, unfortunately nothing will. I had to throw out my old Eagle Alloys because they got so bad.

Well lets put it in a better term. Sometimes the Aluminum wheel is not done right and the polishing in one area goes a bit too deap and sort of uncovers the under layer.
