Berk Intake Bracket...
Berk Intake Bracket...
Installed my Berk Tuning Intake today and the bracket that i got seems "too short"
Here's the scenario...
* the bracket, when fitted under that metal line, isn't quite high enough to reach the bottom of the MAF adapter. in this position, the whole intake assembly is angled down from horizontal about 20degrees; and the "accordian" section by the throttle body is stretched something fierce.
anyone else have this problem
or how did you guys with the Berk Intake mount your bracket
i ended up securing it the 'poor-mans' way by using ty-wraps much like in this picture
anyone with any insight...it would be much appreciated
cheers

Re: Berk Intake Bracket...
didn't have that problem with mine. no clearance issues on my 2k. it's kinda tough to see in your pic cuz i think the tie strip is that shiny black thing and the background is black too. if it's what i think it is, you should just be able to bend that metal bracket behind it for clearance. if i remember correctly it's just there to hold the oem intake so nothing lost by moving it a little.
