Summary:
tiny car, barely room enough for the necessities (steering wheel, brake pedal and door handles). cute enough though. bought this car for the wife who was tired of her 13 y.o. Cadilac Touring Sedan with 220,000 miles. She loved the size, and cuteness at first. NOw, twenty thousand miles later she's VERY anxious to get rid of the watch fob. too tiny to carry anything more than a driver and possibly one passenger. horrible road car: too light, rough suspension, noisy, etc.

well, the maxima is "small" compared to a 13 year old cadillac. those things were huge!!

"Cute"? Damn, this is a friggin' mid-sized sedan. They must be quite large to consider this car too small.

And no other products similar? Wait, didn't he say he drove a 13 year-old caddy? Couldn't he have compared between that "huge" car and this "tiny" car. They must be pretty big to begin with (move front seats all the way back) so that there's room for only one driver and passenger.

I don't envy large or tall people...these and other cool sports cars were designed with the "normal" person in mind. When my brother was shopping for a car, he had to strike out a lot of choices because he's too tall and don't fit. Hahaha.

 

Yes... What's MISSING from this little review IS:

The Owner is 'Bertha'... all 462 lbs of her. She hates the lack of room and ride her abused Max gives her and her lighter friend 'Gretchen' (362 lbs) on the way to those all-ya-can-eat buffets.

it's all but ones opinion, so here's mine. he should of dumped money
into the 13 y.o. Cadillac and keep that pos for his wifes liking.

especially since the 1990 Deville (let's assume it is the big Touring Sedan he refers to) is actually:

SMALLER in interior (passenger area) volume and measurement categories than a 5th Gen Max except:

front shoulder room (2.1 inches larger)
rear head room (.7 inches larger)
rear hip room (.2 inches larger)
rear leg room (ok, this IS a big 7.4 inches larger)

since the first 3 differences are miniscule, I would have to imagine 2-ton Tessie and Hubby remove front seats, extend the steering column and drive from teh rear seat!! That is the only way a Caddy fron that era could be considered huge!

 

Yah, I've seen this kind of review over on MSN's carpoint page. Bunch of ricers hop on and flood the "review" page with low ratings because they can't deal with the fact that our 4DSC kicks a$$.

BTW, I owned a '93 Altima 5sp and it was a fantasic car and not really all that small...of course, my 2K2 Max is light years better!
