Squealing driver's side window

My 2001 Maxima AE suffers from a slow moving, squealing driver's window. I took the car to the dealer, and they could not replicate the squeal/drag. (They had lubed the door and said somehow that must have cured the squealing.) Well, the next day the squeal was back and the drag. I searched here and found posts suggesting silicone spray would stop the squealing. I tried a little on the window (spraying it into the door itself while the window was lowered). The window did not squeak for an hour or so, but now it is squealing and also greasy. What suggestions do you have for this window problem? Thank you

Spray the silicone on the side of the windows. Stick the straw inside the rubber which the window glides up and down on and let it rip. It should cure that squeal. This is what I do and my windows do not come out greasy

How exactly?

By sides of the window, do you mean the narrow sides of the window? I sprayed the silicon in the window's rubber casing, but I sprayed across the width of the window. It made my windows streak when I raised the window.

Yes the narrow sides, towards the bottm. Lower the window down all the way to get a better angle.

Re: Squealing driver's side window

You might laugh at this one.. I tried silicone spray too and at best it helped for a couple of weeks; the rails were lubed with tranny fluid next.. guess what no squeals
lol
