Friendly TL Race with a Cool Driver!
I was out cruising tonight and came upon a black TL 2000-2001 model with OEM bodykit, an intake, and headers. I had been asking this guy to race me every weekend at the street races, but he never had his car with him - tonight was the showdown! Each time I let him get the jump because I knew that I would catch up. We went from a stop once when I wasn't expecting it and I didn't brake-torque and he had a mili-second headstart, but I easily passed him and was 2-2.5 cars ahead by the top of 2nd (78mph). We went about 5 times from a roll all around 40-50-60. I put at least 1-1.5 lengths on him in a few seconds. Anyway the guy was cool and his car as very good-looking (I am partial to them because I used to have a white diamond pearl 2000 TL). It was fun and the guys was cool - first TL/CL owner that I have met that was cool.

It's just when they get on that Acura-TL.com website that they lose their minds. J/K
