20,000 candles=HID lights
I don't know of the lights of HID bulbs are equal to 20,000 candles but it sure feels like it when a car that has them is behind me and all that brightness reflects off the mirrors and directly into my eyes
I know the rearview mirror has an auto dimming feature...but what about the exterior mirrors??
has anyone tinted thier exterior mirrors
I'm actually considering tinting my drivers side window and the back window a lil bit darker (and leaving the rest the current color ...tacky but won't be blinded )
any other ideas on how to keep my eyesight (and no snide comments about going blind because of blanky blank blank blank)

I said this before, but I wish that they would have made the side mirrors w/the autodimming feature too. Oh well...I don't think it would be a good idea to tint the mirrors. What % tint do you have on your windows right now? I think just making the windows darker is the best solution.

I know what you mean about being blinded! My 2k1 Grand Cherokee Limited had the auto-dimming interior mirror AND driver's side exterior mirror. I really miss having the driver's mirror auto-dim as well. Oh well, at least my max starts every day. hehe
