new V2+AE 5spd dyno #'s
AE 5spd
V2 3.33 @ 7 psi
fwhp: 297
tq: 244
Stillen Y
Greddy Evolution cat back
stock wheels/tires
email me if you know why my boost is only
7psi, I'm affraid to overtighten the belt.
and what should my EGT be reading at idle/highway speeds?
the belt seems to be rubbing on the backside (flat side)
I grinded the piece of the bracket just under the 3.33 pulley.
where else or why could it be rubbing
thanks for any info.

You should gain 1 psi or so if you convert to a CAI.
As long as you don't go over 800C on the EGT, you should be fine.
Are your pulleys clean? The flat side of the belt touches only the idler and tensioner pulleys.

Your gauge is only showing 7 psi and yet you still made 297 fwhp? In the dyno section it looked to me like most people making that much power were running 9 to 11 psi. It could be possible that your boost gauge is off a little.

Hey SR20-
Did you do the UDP before the NOS? If so, did iyt make much difference?
Also, how tough was it to do the NOS? How much $$$ have you put in at this point? I am thinking it might be time for some added power....

Thanks guys for the help, I guess the gauge is off, my EGT's are good (according to Kev's #'s) The hp is corrected. now, i have to
plumb that CAI. Will tuning this car with an AFC be worth it? I heard "no" unless you have extra $$$ which i don't. My pulley's are clean (brand new), maybe the belt misaligned and scraping something.

As for the UDP, I couldn't really tell one way or the other if it helped. And I don't have conclusive dyno data on it either. The only thing I know for sure is that my AC compressor now makes a bit of noise when it spins at too low an RPM.

Yes I installed the UDP long before I put the Nitrous on. If I count the cost of the Nitrous kit that I already had Id say I have spent about $1600 thus far. $1000 of that being the Nitrous setup I had to use.

Thanks a lot. I didn't realize we were so close. I think I might need to take a spin down to NC one weekend so I can check the NOS. If it is rockin, like I think it will be, I might have to get busy.
