2002 Maxima 6 speed PART5
Called Nissan headerquater in Gardena. The lady's name is Perla Hernandez. Her direct line is
310 771 3789. I did ask her about the airbag recall (in addition to the hesitation problem) and she said she was not aware of any problems with the 2002 Maxima. I called Tustin Nissan again, they said there is a recall on Altima airbag, not the MAXIMA. So the folks at Nissan do not even have the facts straight.
I was told to bring the car to the dealer, so I will do that tomorrow. Can the folks who already have the dealer confirm the hesitation problem give me the dealer name ? I can use them as references. Keep all the histories. Perhaps the lemon law can apply here.
