please help! remote problem!

Wow i really need some help. I have two 2k1 maxima's. On one of the maxima I lost the stock keyless remote control. (both of them). So what i did was take one of the remotes from my other maxima, and followed the instructions on this website to reporgram it to werk with my car. WEll the goodnews is that evertyhinjg works. But the bad news is that now that remote that I reprogrammed works for both of the cars now! When i press unlock both cars unlock etc... I have tried programming the remaining remote again for the same car thining it would erase the memory of the original codes, but no luck. The remote i reporogrammed still unlocks and locks both cars simultanously. Please help me with this because it causes a real problem for my dad, and me. Thanks again guys.

Rod.

The instruction goes like so:

1. Get into car and lock the doors.
2. Insert key into the ignition and pull it out rapidly, like 5 times in 10 secs. The lights should flash. This means that all previous keyless codes are cleared from memory.
...

So if you do this on original car and only show it the remaining remote it SHOULD work

i know it did, but for some reason the code from the old remote is still stored and is not cleared...

Im sorry, I'm not flaming you in any way...but that is Hillarious, I already laugh at all my friends when I open the front windows on my 2k2 when we're walking to the car and they get there and start talking about how I left my windows open.If i had 2 Maximas in my driveway and opened both with the touch of one button, they would freak.

It doesn't sound like anyone knows how to fix it. Just call a dealer.
