Do you guys think it is possible to put a 02 front end on a 00 or 01?

The fenders and the hood are the same, the only thing different is the bumper and the grille.

If it is feasible for under $1000, I think it is a worthwhile mod, kinda like a body kit.

 

I think it will fit. Don't know if the fog lights are the same though. I like the 00-01 front end better though. It will probably be less than $1000, all you PROBABLY need is the painted bumper cover from Nissan.

 

I thought about this myself, especially when hearing about how the headlights don't fit exactly right when you do the swap.

 

the fogs aren't a big deal. I can just get the 02 fogs.

 

i was actually thinking about this earlier today but the other way around. i drove by a parked 2000/2001 maxima today that was identical to mine except for the fact that it was a 2000 or 2001. and i thought to myself i like the way the 2000/2001 front end looks better than the 2k2. i would never make the swap but it just sort of entered my mind and i thought about it for a little bit.

 

i, otoh, like the curved edge of the 2k2 front end than the rounded bumper on the 2k/1. my 2c

 

i was thinking about this too when i was looking at a stillen lip for 00-01... i even posted about it! no one replied though...
