New '02 SE owner, here....

Just pulled the trigger on an '02 SE (Super Black/Black) at a give-away $950 UNDER invoice and need to sell my '99 Audi A4 Avant. Please see my post in the Classifieds thread if you (or someone you know) might be interested. Location is Minneapolis, MN. Big thanks!

What do you think of your 2K2 SE vs the A4? Was it a 1.8T or a 2.8?

Be prepared, I was so excited with my 2k2 when i picked it up, but the little bugs are quite the annoyance..

Almost wished i just spent a little more and got a G35 or a TYPE S acura..

bomb is a good point. G35 is a bad *** car.

But the 2K2 is evil also.

I'd still stay with my Max even with small gripes here and there

Yeah i agree, in the price range of this car, there is absolutely nothing on the road that compares, and i mean NOTHING!!

BUt still even lesser cars with less power in the same price range are a lot more refined!

But i still love driving it, and beating up on people with it!

Welcome to the org. The G35 is an unbelievable car, just way too small inside. The max is a better deal and what would a maxima be without the little bs problems?

I was at a dealership today. I brought up the fact that I was also shopping for the TL-S. Salesperson tried to tell me that it isn't half the car the Maxima is.

A4 vs Maxima

Guys, the A4 Avant is a 1.8 turbo, with only 150 hp...so a performance comparison isn't fair. With the sport package it's a great handler, tho. Closest I've come in the past to the Maxima's performance level was the original Taurus SHO ('89) with its Yamaha-engineered V6 (24 valve, 220 hp). That car couldn't touch Nissan in build quality, but man it rocked!

The salesperson is right, the TL-S ISN'T half the car the Maxima is..or the G35 for that matter. We just traded a '02 TL-S for the G35 due to transmission problems that they're having in the TL-S and CL-S(which Acura still denies). You're getting a better value with the Max or a G.

I'm kinda feeling the same way now. My little hesitation problem off the line is driving me nuts now.
