Has anyone noticed on their 2K2 when driving at night that when you hit a bump or a ridge in the road that the HIDs will sometimes shake for split second? Really weird, at first I thought that maybe the HID lamp units were not secured or mounted tightly, but I checked them both and they seem to be mounted properly.

 

I've noticed it too on certain rough roads out here in so cal.

 

Dave, I'm wondering if it's because the light is so white that any type of "shaking" (even if it's very small) it's more noticeable than with ordinary headlights. Glad to see that I'm not the only noticing this.

 

Tomcat, thanks for posting the "thread," now I feel better...thought I had a problem there.

 

no s##t mine do it to, It looks like a bad mounting on the top of the headlight housing. Went to the dealer and thay agreed with me about dont know if there is a fix yet for

 

NISSAN69, it appears that this is normal...though on some of the more expensive cars they have figured out a way of minimizing or getting rid of this vibration.
