New Max, looking for some advice on mods.

Hi guys, just took my 2k1 home and I've been looking through the mods list for weeks so far. I've got a good idea on what to do with most things, but I have a few questions.

1) Do you guys use clear lights on your clear sidemarkers?

2) If you drop a nice aftermarket deck in, will the speakers blow easily (standard sound, all speakers will be replaced later)?

3) Did you do the redrill and grind on the deck mounting bracket to get it to sit flush with the dash?

4) Would you go Meguiars Gold Class or Zaino on the Max paint?

5) Any idea when the next leatherseats.com GD is goin down?

I'm damn excited to get to work on some of these upgrades and I'd love to talk with any Tucson drivers if you happen to see the message. Thanks

Vito

I will answer your questions as best i can in the order they were asked..

1) I use amber led's in front with red led's in back.
2) Any good aftermarket deck will blow those crappy speakers pretty easily..Either replace or use caution.
3) If you get your deck from crutchfield, they should have a dash kit so you can avoid any grinding, etc. Otherwise I have a 2k2, so I am not sure if the deck is the same or what grinding is needed.
4) I just used the Meguires this past weekend after a claybar treatment...came out really nice. I would reccommend.
