I'm buying a charcoal grey 2000 SE with Bose, leather, moonroof, 17in wheels, heated seats, with 48,000 miles on it for 16,500. From all that I've seen it looks like a good deal. The guy I'm buying it from is a High School principal(so you know it hasn't been driven hard), and has been the only owner. The car is in mint condition, and there isn't a scratch on the thing. What do you guys think? If i get it.. what should be my first mod? 2k2 headlights or stillen Aerokit?

p.s. if someone has any 2k2 headlights for sale.. let me know.
(this will sure be a good upgrade from my '96 GXE )

Seems like a fantastic deal!! I got my 2000 gxe for 16k and I thought I did really good, but that was a year ago... to get an se for so low is fantastic!!

What's "C&C"?(cruise control?) And are you saying that i'm not getting a good deal? 14,500 is very good.. but you also got a GXE. I'm getting an SE loaded out... Somewhat of a difference. For an SE model it seems like i'm getting an AWESOME deal...

 

C&C = comfort and convenience. But eventhough i have a GXE, i still have all of your options except leather. I have power seat, sun roof, fogs, and spoiler.. I EVEN PUT A "SE" badge on it

I got a killer deal on mine. Check with that guy and tell him 16k for it.

 

By the way... Your sig with your car's pic says that you have 2k2 tails on your car... although they don't look like 2k2's? Are they just regular Altezza's that you bought off ebay or something?? I like them aloT though! Although they look a tad bit different than what's on a 2k2.

I just bought a 2000 SE last weekend. Black with black leather, BOSE, meridian, sunroof, 17's, 5 speed. 35,000 miles.....17K

Private owner, though. Dealers will be a little higher.

Lopez, I didn't get a deal on a GXE with leather and Moonroof.. It's an SE with Leather and Moonroof. Igor got the deal on the GXE.. and i'm jealous of him too.

Congrats! oh.. and what exactly is meridian? it sounds like me and you have the same car basically, except i don't think mine has meridian(does it?), and yours only has 35,000 miles (as opposed to my 48,000)

 

The 2k2 tails i have are from nissan dealer. I did nothing to them. In order for them to work, u need to buy the harness to plug into your harness.

BTW - I never said i had leather. I SAID EVERYTHING BUT LEATHER!

 

Meridian has the heated seats and mirrors. It has something else, but I can't recall off hand what it is Actually, i wasn't crazy about the black interior until I looked at the car...Now, I love it..I would rather have gotten the frost, though...MUCH cooler in the heat....But that's what the full tint on the windows is for

Anyways, that sounds like a good deal. And you'll love the car...It's great

I have Meridian on my 2K2, it has heated seats , mirrors, and steering wheel . I live in Southern Cal now so I wont be using it much, until I drive to Colorado in the winter..

 

I got my '00 SE with frost leather, 17s, 5spd, BOSE, and everything else for $18,900. It had 32k miles from the dealer. not too bad i guess

 

i bought a 5 spd charcoal grey SE with all the same stuff minus leather for $16K...but it only had 33,000 miles on it. can you try to negotiate on it? anyways, if you really have your heart set on it, just get it, still a good deal. happy driving!

 

I bought a '00 SE a week ago for 15k with 66k miles. Bose and thats about all for extras. Very clean interior and exterior though. I couldnt pass it up.

Are you sure that HS principal didn't get his stress out with a lead foot?

 

A good maxima SE, ie : a claen low milage, solid running, that needs basically no repair, normally goes for anywhere between $17,500-$19,000. So yeah you are getting a great deal. I would job at that right away before someone else does.
