Overall...
I really like it.
The interior with rear buckets/console is what I have dreamed of maxima having offered in years. I love the profile, how the body shape is maintained within the headlamps, love the front bumper wrap around to the cornering lamps.
I do wish however the tail lamps reached the seams of the bumper for a cleaner look in rear. The guages for SE model were reverse glow similar to the Muranos (see below). I also wish the grille was narrower and wider to reach the headlamps to give the max a wider stance and that the tooth in it was smaller and body color on SE modles.
Murano Guages look best, what do you think?

I'm still not sure if i'm crazy about the 6th gen or not. I do like the increased size ( hopefully the increased hp from the 3.5 will compensate for the extra size), i like the dual quad tips, thrilled the 6spd is still available, but like i said will have to see one on dealer lot before i know if i will trade in my 2K2.

Overall....
I like...
- The engine
- The rear
- The interior, esp. the dash & "infromation screen"
- The suspension it finally deserves
- The 18" wheels on the SE
- The 5-speed manumatic
- The 300+ watt 8-speaker Bose system
I dislike
- The front grille (eventually we'll get used to it and even mod it one day)
- The spoiler
- The so-called "Skyview" roof (could've been better designed)
- A 4-speed auto still being used
- The gauges (It's nice for the SL, but Nissan should really consider Murano-style gauges for the SE)
