I traded my Ford focus for my new maxima.
The ford was a well designed car, until it went out of warrenty they everything started going wrong, its a 2001 I bought it in 12/00 and it has 52,000 and already the transmission is starting to slip and the fuel pump is having problems.
I don't know where the problem lies but I feel that at least ford has a quality control problem. My mom and dad both have dodge and they never had any problems. my grandma has a toyota, that car just wouldn't die just kept running. I'm sure that Union workers are pretty good at what they do, but maybe the car company has to make production go faster to make up what the union workers are paid, and that causes lower quality.
