04 MAX - up close and personal
04 MAX - up close and personal
I recently went to the 04 maxima vip night at the Skydome in Toronto for the unveiling of the 6th generation. My only problem is with the front grill. Its unappealing at first glance but maybe it will grow on me in time. The things I like most are the available 4-person seating where the back seat is divided by a centre console complete with heated seat that have the ability to recline. There is a new skylight feature that is standard on the maxima. It is a non-functional sunroof that runs from the front to the back of the vehicle and is rather narrow in width. There is still an optional power moonroof available but the skyview is much more appealing.
The grill can be replaced for me I don't like the headlights they seem un finished. The way the bulbs are seperated in the clear plastic lenses just don't come together well. I like the stackable G35 lights or the way the Altima and 2002-03 Maxima lights complement the front fascia. Those 2004 headlights belong on the Toyota Celica not the Maxima.

Agreed. I also personally don't like the look of the fog lights combined into the headlight lens cluster. I much prefer the separate look of prior years, with the fogs in the lower front facia, completely separated from the headlights.
