Factory Chrome Wheels?

Did anyone spring the $1500 (MSRP, anyway) for the factory chrome SE wheels? I found out at the last minute that they were available, but opted not to get them. I think they'd look nice on the Majestic Blue or the Black. I'd love to see some pictures if anyone bought their SE with them.

I think they just came out, they weren't available for the first few months.

I think I'm done with chrome wheels for a while. The satin finishes are more to my liking and most of the chrome wheels I see show a lot of surface dips and waves.

Has anyone heard when the new server/s come on line? I keep getting the server busy or mysql errors. It is a pain but for what I'm paying I guess I can't complain.

Are the chrome whells an option for both the SL and SE or optional only on one of the versions?

What is the status on your 2004 Maxima purchase? What color options are you ordering? All you need is glass cleaner and some news paper to keep chrome wheels cleaned. It's chrome they will be shiny even if they are dirty!!!

$1500? Yikes. You can drop 600 for a full set of chromed 18s these days, not sure if I'd pony up even 900 more for the Nissan center caps.

We have it ordered, and they are looking for one that fits what we want. It suckes waiting cuz i dont know when we are getting it. Its going to be an SE in magestic blue with the frost interior. Audio Package and Sunroof. Originally we were going to get the driver preffered but my dad just wants to save money so we decided against it. Glass cleaner works?? wow never thought of that for my current rims, i use eagle one never dull polish, Oh and when they get dirty they dont stay shiny either, sometimes but depends on how much **** is on them.

Sounds great! Majestic blue is a excellent choice. Frost leather should look good with the brush aluminum trim in the SE. Myc hrome wheels look shiney even when they are dirty but I clean mine at least once a week. Yes glass cleaner and news paper is all I use on my wheels I use to wax my factory wheels but no need for that with chrome.
