serspecv - I haven't had that problem, but noticed back in March that a disappointing number of '04 Maximas did not have all four tailpipes exactly aligned. Some were badly misalined.

I remember only two posters on this board who had to have the mufler/tailpipe assemblies realined. I don't remember who the posters were; one was back in May and one in June, I believe.

I also don't remember if they expressed any particular difficulty in negotiating the adjustment. All I really remember is that, in each case, the proper alignment was accomplished by the dealers involved.

I'm having my both my mufflers w/tail pipe ends changed. They were all straight but had a rattle at a certain rpm. at the same time there changing both my rear door weatherstrips. There not giving me a hard time, I have very good conections!!! I'll leave it at that

Screw that. Mossy will have the exhaust for the Maxima out soon. Hopefully it will be one fat chromed outlet on each side. The current tips suck wind...

I wish they come out with exahust like it is now 4 pipes, but without stupid tips around the actually exhaust openings. More like M5, M3 exhausts.

It looks so stupid with those tips on stock 2004 Maxima exhaust, especially when they missaligned and if you look closer the tip is bigger in diameter than the actually exahust opening.

I was driving behind one 2004 SE the other night and exhaust looked pretty bad, missalligned one thing and you can see tips and actuall exahust openings, which looks kinda ugly I think.
Same thing I noticed on the Murano.
Nissan should have at least made the tips not show how small actually exahust openings are.

Had mine fixed whne I installed a custom exhaust (cat back) left the stock mufflers. Put in 2 1/2 pipe from cat to mufflers. (good HP gains, nice sound) also got JWT POP charger in place (VERY NICE HP GAINS)
