New to Board with an '04

Hi all, I stumbled across your board and am glad to see so many Maxima enthusuiasts!

I just purchased an '04 SE, Champagne, Leather, auto w/manual shifter, 18"rims, Full sunroof, Bose, HID's, etc. So far, I love this car! This is my first Maxima, we traded in the wifes Camry, man what a difference!

We looked closely at the G35, but I couldn't justify the extra 3-5G's for a car with similar options. I hope I made the right choice.

I'm a tinkerer, I've modded my '99 PSD and I'm sure I'll play with the Max. I'm already looking to replace the front grill...

Hope I can contribute to the board!

Welcome. Sounds like you got yourself a nice ride. Check out cardomain.com and think about adding a site of your own. Keep us posted on any up and coming mods.

Welcome!

welcome kito! the champagne mist was my first choice, but im pretty damn happy with the red, especially with a $2000 rebate when I got it. Anyways, check out the link below for some ideas on mod's for the '04. Tinting the windows looks GREAT, and if you want a good system, definitely look into adding an amp/sub combo, mine was homebuilt and the subs and amp were bought off Ebay for pretty cheap and they sound good. Also, an mp3/CD changer is a great idea, gives you access to literally 150 CDs, instead of the 6 you get with the Bose system. Enjoy the '04, I have and I just turned 1,000 miles! http://www.chrisaustin.us/car.html

Welcome aboard! I've been visiting the org (w/ different name) since 2000, and have found the forums to be a great place for information (and entertainment). Congrats on the new car!

What part of Cleveland are you from?

Hey guys, I lived in Cleveland for 3 years. I was in Westlake, and moved to Fairview Park. Loved the city but it's too cold for me.

It's a small world.
I'm in Westlake now, as is 00MaxSE.
Definitely cold, but I've been up here too long to be bothered by it. I wonder what a warm winter would feel like...?

If you ever want to know what a warmer winter is like just swing by my house in Mobile. I love winter down here but we only get snow about every 10 years and I kind of miss the snow...but I don't miss the cold winds off the lake.

BTW, I lived in the Crossings apartment complex right on the interstate. Loved that place, 1100sq. ft. apartment was fine as crap.
