I am 16 y/o and am getting an 04 Max. Has anyone else been waiting like 2 months. It might be just impatience but im sick and tired of it. I cant wait any longer. Maybe its just us teeneagers?

The Maxima I ordered on June 15th came in August 11th. However I picked up this onea week earlier. Yours should be in anytime now. Talk to your dealer, they should be able to tell you exactly where it is at, and the ETA.

People are obessed with kids getting new cars. I like my maxima, it's semi-fast. But it's not really a dangerous car. I remember when I picked up my 2000 Eclipse. (my first car, got it before I got my license) People were *****ing about how it's "too much of a car for a new driver." That's bull, personally, I think the Eclipse was one of the best cars to learn to drive in. And I see absolutly no problem what-so-ever with a 6g maxima.

 

Man, I wish I had a car of this caliber when I was 16. You are very fortunate.

yup, it took about 2 months for mine to arrive. Just curious - are you buying this yourself? Either way, good for you! This is my 2nd Max (and 4th Nissan) and I've been quite happy.

 

Ordered an SE Auto w/Journey, Sunroof, VDC, mats and mudguards on July 15. Just picked it up October 2. About ten weeks. I lucked out because the lease was up on my STS 9/30.

 

No i am not buying this car myself. Its not actually my decisions. My parents didnt want me to get a used car because they were scared it would break down all the time. Anyway, thanx to all you that provided input. As for the people that think a new car is not for a 16 y/o, i agree even though i am getting one.lol

 

Yeah, we could start a whole new thread on first cars, but I know I wrecked my first car, my sister wrecked her first car, and millions of other people have wrecked their first cars. Oh well, if it's not your money.

The dealership just called me and they said the ETA of my car was October 24. Just stay off the roads that day!!!!!!!!
