Grinding in front wheel?

Don't know if anyone else has experienced this - my '04, 9k miles, has a bit of grinding noise in the front wheel. It only happens when I'm slowing to a stop, and particularly when turning to the right (into parking spots, etc).

Anyone else? I can't get it checked at a dealer for a week, but thought I'd throw it out there for any ideas....

mabye bad brake pads or excessive breaking....most cars have a pin that comes out of the brake and rub against the rotor to warn you that the pad is worn down. Either that or mabye you rotor could be warped...mabye go to midas .

Could be a rock trapped in the pad. Check the rotors. Make sure to check both sides. I had this happen once and it was the backside that I DIDN
T check. The rotor was ruined after a while of this. Doh!!

That could very well be the infamous bad wheel bearing...seems to be very common here lately.
