Picking up my car today!

My Maxima is finally here...problem is that my Credit Union is closed (Sat & Sun). The Fleet mgr. that I'm dealing with said I can...

A) Write them a check for the full amount of the sale that they'll hold
until I contact the credit union.
B) Sign an option contract with the dealer that will be replaced by
my already approved credit union agreement.

My credit Union is a large Union and has been around for years. Will they have a problem with the fact that I took delivery under either of the conditions above ? Which option is better...write a check or option contract?

Any and all help is appreciated!

I would just wait till Monday man... I would definitely have a problem with:

A) giving them $ without getting your car

B) signing a contract with them

Monday is only 2 days away.

A is the best option. I don't think 04EliteSE understood it though. You write them a check for the full amount, and they give you the car. They know that the check won't be good untill at least monday, but they can't cash it untill then anyways.

From there you have 2 options, either have the credit union put the loaned amount into your checking account and have the dealership cash your check. OR you can get a cashiers check from the bank for the loan amount plus you down payment, and bring that to your dealership.

The first option is the best, thats how I've done my deals in the past.
