i was adding my amp for the speakers i changed on the inside and when i was dont putting everything back together in the back of the radio and computer i start the car and get the SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT? anyone had this prob and what do i need to do

 

Ya this happened to me also but it was totally random. I called the dealership and they told me that it comes on if the gas tank cap is not tight or stuff like that. I'm taking it in on Monday.

 

Yes, It happened to me. I had disconnected the radio....I was trying trying ot clean up the main LCD.....when I connected the radio and the AC back.....and put the center console together, I turned the car on and there it was.....the SES light came on....I took it to the dealer and they reset it.....they told me the same "gas cap" tale.....good luck.

 

well they reset it for me told me that if it was the code for the gas cap not put back on properly they wud charge me $40 but it came to be something different.

Do u know where they hook up the computers to check the computer in the car?
