30 days to return car?
but still anyone expierience something like this
well its not too hard to guess that somethings wrong in the wiring or the onboard computer, but why risk having a defective car or having the same problem occuring in the future when you have 30 days to return it or trade it for a new max. I don't know about your lease, but i had 30 days to return the car too, but there was a $500 restocking fee, but if i where to trade my max and it had problems, i wouldn't even want to pay that.

With all due respect, I think you're over-reacting. If you'd owned as many American cars as I have, you'd know this is just a "gremlin" that they can fix. It doesn't mean the car is possessed by demons or cursed by God. Cars are really complex machines, and it just takes one thing going wrong to f*** things up. But by the same token, repairing or replacing that one thing makes it all okay again.
I'll bet they fix it and you never have another problem with it.

If you think that's bad, take a look at my story. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....0&page=1&pp=30

just my 2 cents
That is nothing more than a short.
I had something similair happen to a 2002 BMW 330i I was leasing before I bought my 04 Max.
I know it is annoying but it is very fixable and is nothing to be alarmed about.
