Spots Everywhere!!!

I just got my brand new 2004 Maxima SE Black on Black leather and sunroof last friday. I got a couple of questions for ya.

1.What is the deal with all the shakes and shimmy's i know its a sports suspension and all but its a rough ride for a 30k car?
2.I just washed my car today by hand, and I have Spots every where I used what I have heard and believe to be the best car wash soap "McGuire's". The spots have a whiteish tinge to them I am not sure if I used too much soap or they are water spots, but they are real difficult to get off or they smudge worse when you try. I tried dryinging it by hand as well and it looks like im putting hair line scratches all over the car i am using brand new all cotton towels. What is the deal? I am calling the dealer tommorrow. Do you think it has something to do with the wax they put on it? IM FREAKING OUT MAN!!! HELP

p.s.
I live in massachusetts and bought it from Ira Nissan in Tewksbury. i got a hell of a deal but the service there is awful has anyone else from the newengland area had the same experience.

I washed mine today and had white spots also, but I know it is from our water here. I use the Absorber to dry mine and it leaves it spotless. I also used clay bar on mine today to remove any contaminants that it might have picked up during shipment. I noticed some rail dust on the trunk and hood so I wanted to get it off immediately. Maybe you should try the clay bar and see if it helps.

Hope it works out for you.

Did you wash it out in the sun? Did you rinse it off well enough? Are you sure it's "car wash" you're using? Sorry, but have to ask the simple questions first...

Don't know if you've ever had a black car before, but welcome to the wonderful world of Everything Shows On It.

I had my first one back in the eighties, and I swore to myself I'd never have another one. Yeah, they're killer looking when they're clean, but it takes about 5 minutes after washing one for it to look like pookie.

Then I broke down and got my current Bimmer, a 2003 540i, in Black Sapphire. I figured since it was more like a dark, dark charcoal, and has a lot of metallic in it, it would do better than plain old flat black. Wrong. It has gobs more blemishes after 18 months than my other cars had at 3 years. Something about black just attracts little chips and dings and swirls and scratches ... not to mention bird ****, tree sap and flying rocks.

i will never, never, ever get another black car. I promise (again).

Mike
