Junior Year is Finally Over, Got Some Pics.

I just finished my junior year of highschool and all my exams are done (thank god!) so i decided to take some pics of my Maxima.

Here's some exterior shots, nothing exciting, all stock, but on the 4th pic you can see where someone hit my back bumper at the mall. Used some touchup paint so its not as noticable.

Here's some interior shots. Has my Palm Tungsten T3 attached to the TomTom navigator for Palm (aftermarket GPS).The screen isn't extended, but when it is it has 320x480 resoultion.

Here's some photoshoped pics of what i want. A nice tint for the window and a caliper paint kit.

an '04 Max for a soon-to-be senior

hey guys, could be worse. Before I graduated from high school in '97 I've seen some ppl drive Lexus LS400's to school (no comment) .. oh yeah at my h.s. in '97, the trend for cars were a Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer or a Jeep (Grand) Cherokee .. from what I hear, some ppl. at my h.s. now drive even Escalades, Yukons, Tahoes, and yes, still, lexus'

I still managed to get by w/ my '87 Olds Toronado for h.s. before I went the Nissan & Jeep (winter driver) route, but now I'm content w/ my '98 SE and my '04 JGC

you would think, but i live in pretty afluent area where parents get their kids s2000, evo 8's, lexas, bmws, benzs, and even an sti with 30,000 in aftermarket parts (says he got dyned at 600hp, how'd you dyno awd?), so not as much as i should, i really should move. Anyways, my max can burn all of em, lol, well at least i have bigger wheels. thanx, and i paid a little less then half of my own car so im not that spoiled.

This isn't meant to sound sarcastic: but, good for you. It's good to know that in an age where most parents raise their children with their pocket book, some younggins are actually working hard to earn their keep. You rock!

I drove my mom's woodgrain Pontiac grand lemans ('79) station wagon, then gravitated to my dad's old mini-van when I was in high-school... Hell, I was simply grateful to have a set of wheels to drive, period. It humbles me every time I get behind the wheel of my new Maxima. It took me over 15 years to get to the point where I can afford such a luxury.

When my wife and I have kids, I'm going to give 'em a clunker for high-school too. If they want a new Max or anything else fancy, they're going to have to pay for it with their own savings. (By then, I hope to have a 16th gen. Max.)

I bought myself a brand new Z28 Camaro when i graduated from high school. It cost me all of $7600 (CDN). I walked into a dealer and pointed to the car i wanted. I didn't know at that point that you could negotiate car prices . I thought that it worked like any other store. The price was on the car and that's what i paid. Boy....was i dumb ! (you can tell by the price of the car....obviously this was a long time ago....)

The salesmen must have had a good laugh at my expense when i left the dealer ship paying full sticker price.

Anyways, i was happy so it didn't matter.

Enjoy your Max Joseph !

Bob
