Trip to the dealership

As we all know with the 6th gen max's. they have the problem with the brake shimmy and sometimes some vibes in the steering wheel around 45-65. i know some people were talking about snugging some bolts on the steering rack which i know if snugged too much the steering wheel no longer goes back straight by it self. but i guess none of that was needed when i brought mine in for this problem, a simple Balance of all 4 wheels which were BEYOND out of balance with only 240 miles on the car and a simple cut to the front rotors. seems to be ok for the past 100 miles. i was curious if anyone else got there issue fixed this easy.

it has not been that easy for me. i have had my wheels balanced, front end aligned, they tried the friction rack adjustment (it worked for a weekend and the shimmy came right back) and i am still having the problem. the regional rep was here on last friday and they were supposed to call and have me bring the car in for him to look at it. Guess what!! no call. I talked to them monday and the service supervisor said he was not in on Friday so he would have to see what happened. Turns out the regional rep said he did not have time to look at my car friday, and he only comes twice a year. The service manager is out of town until tomorrow on vacation, and they are supposed to see if he got any information from the regional guy that would help fix my shimmy. This has been a nightmare. This service department is odd. Their is one service manager and then two service supervisors. Why in the hell do they need all these people to manage and supervise. Fire them and hire some techs who can actually fix my car. I second the motion on other threads. Nissan dealers suck! !@#$%^

For some reason the highlighted sentence struck me as humorous... it's funny how entering the workforce as a gainfully employed individual changes your perspective on things, isn't it?

Sorry about your experiences. Unfortunately, I think a good majority of us have had to deal with a less-than-satisfactory dealership.
