How Do I Hook up an amp to my stock radio?

I want to add a amp to my stock radio so I can run a set of subs. I don't have the Bose stereo or Sat set up, I just have the stock NDSS system. I do have the Sat button but as far as I know nothing is hooked up to it. I tried a PAC SNI-35 which does not work it just turns the subs on but no music goes through them. I have no idea what to do.....Please HELP.......

The other option is to tap into the rear speaker with a high/low converter and run your RCA's from there. The quality won't be great cause because the outputs aren't directly processed from the headunit meaning you may have loud bass when the volume is low. But it works

I did it this way, and it sounds pretty good. Can't compare it to how it would sound straight from the max's stereo, but it definitely sounds as good as it did in my last car hooked up to a kenwood stereo. For most case scenarios, I would say you'd be satisfied with it. But maybe if you were hardcore into sound, you might notice it lacking.
