Vrooom!

Well, all, I finally got the Berk in the bay - what do you all think?? The sound is great and the ffit and finish is tremendous! Bryan was really great to deal with, and would recommend their product to anyone contemplating installing an intake!

Any idea what the plastic box under the filter is for? Noticed it after the install down by the wheel well. Also, getting rid of the factory air box and PVC stuff from the factory exposed a lot of stuff I didn't even know I had! The engine bay will be much easier to detail now!

The plastic peice in the fender well is a resonator to the oem intake. If your running the stock setup you can remove this for a lil more flow and sound. its basically just to keep the intake quieter.

I would suspect it is a reservoir for crud that gets driven in through that front intake section at the leading edge of the hood. My air filter was full of butterflys and other various insects. They were all piled up at the back edge of the filter. Suggesting that they came in there with quite some force. The lower container section in my car had quite a bit of gravel and sand in it. That stuff must have come in the same way.
