Let the Bad Luck continue

Ok so first on Saturday i found out my body kit was shipped broken. Awsome. Then on Tuesday i walk out and it looks like my neighbors were in an accident. The front bumper of their accord was completely off. I think nothing of it. I go to load things in my car and i'm quickly stopped. Whats this? A scratch on my car? Yup.

More like a few scratches. I found the reason the bumper was off of the car. Apparantly the little asian lady that lives next to my sister had a hard time backing out of the driveway. It is narrow but if your patient its not that big of a thing. There were pieces of her car spread across the driveway.

She turned way to early and there are scratches starting from around the turning light, to the front fender, onto the tire, onto the back of the fender and across the passanger door. I became very mad at the site of this. I didn't know who to blam or where it came from. I had just been at a car show on saturday and knew it wasnt there then.

We decided to walk over and ask the neighbors if they knew anything about it, and before we spoke a word he admitted and said he was waiting for my brother in law to get home. Why he wouldn't just tell me is beyond me. I was leaving for NY so i had to know. Well either way they said they are going to pay for it.

So for the next month or so i'll have a nice scratch on my car. Luckily i know who it was and they are paying. I guess i 'll just wait to fix it till the body kit comes on.

Well, she pretty much finished off that side. Park the other way next time, wait for her to drive by again, and maybe you can get all-new sheet metal all around.

I know the frustration of driving a new car all banged up because of someone else's total incompetence. And, once repairs begin, you will have to drive a loaner for a few weeks, worrying if they will really fix things right.

By the way, nice shorts. Are those cargo pockets on the sides? I like the New Balance shoes, also. Can't say much for the legs . . .

Haha thats funny. My sister asked why she could see me in the pics. I just had the thing washed and waxed for the car show so yeah. Yes they are cargo shorts from old navy, and they are nike shoes. My legs looks really short due to the reflection.

Sorry about the damage to the car - all I know is that the legs in the second shot aren't the same ones as in the first - must be a lens issue - HAHAHA - hope things work out and will wait to see photos of the fix...

i think i had the worse luck ever. i've been hit about 4 times. 1 week anniversary with my brand new max my mother backed into the front end with her expedition. i ended up replacing the hood, bumper, grille, and the radiator. a week after i got my car back, i was driving to my gf's house when someone threw something out the window and hit my front right bumper leaving a nice nick. couple of weeks later i was driving up to orange county when someone ran over a piece of blown tire and shot it back hitting my front bumper and hood. i ended up paying $500 out of my pocket for paint job. the story doesn't stop here. 3 weeks later, the valet driver bumped my back bumper to someone's front end leaving a nice paint chip and story goes on with scratches and ding all over the car plus all the problems dat comes with the 6 GEN max. now, this is what you call bad luck.

Yea they sort of are, here is my story. We buy the car 2 weeks later strut problem. 1 month after my pops makes a nice hole in the bumper after parking it right over a bike he did not see. 2 months after we bought the car the car is totaled in a roll over and my mom has a broken coller bone but I am not complaining about the car who gives a **** about it. My mom is now going to get surgery next week she has to put some screws or something but hey the car saved our lives. The only good thing that came out of it was that we now have a brand new 2005 Maxima. Came out of the factory this month, checked the sticker "08/04"
