Glove Box Light Bulb Questions

Glove Box Light Bulb Questions

My glove box light burnt out and i was wondering

A) where is the switch that controlls its on and off

B) Could the bad alignment cause the light to stay on

C) Do i have to take down the whole shifter and right side of the dash to get at that bulb

Ive been looking all over for this answer myself. It looks like you just remove the 4 screws but i dont think it has to be that difficult because you can reach directly to the bulb it just doesnt come out..

Or you can pulll/slide the Glove box door out and put your hand to get a hold of the bulb. Mine burnt out too.. a mechanic did it for me this way. Use the skinyest hand you can find.. like you freinds,counsin .. whoever it is... LOL

You can do that or just remove the four screws and it will drop right down. And while your at it do an LED upgrade (link in my sig!!)

Yea i tried reaching in there with my hands and some tweezers but its in there pretty tight and i dont want to risk breaking the bulb. Ill prob end up having to pull the 4 screws and yea, my whole reason to replacing it was to complete my led conversion.

This is mildly offtopic but does anyone know the bulb size for the vanity mirror lights?
