Buy some mods. Give fresh life to the car. Make It unique, an extension of yourself. Then, then grasshoppa you will feel what the car feels...

....it's a shame that on a new car you're willing to make it like if it's not worth keeping it presentable. I never clean my car, but I always have my car professionally detailed every other week. If you've lost the desire to look at your stock Maxima as someone mentioned do some custom work on it so it can be the only Maxima with those modifications in it.

If there's something I hate seeing is a nice car looking all crappy because the owner neglects it.

"Hi my name is tubells and I am not a Maximaholic...help me please"

I just washed my car (as I do every week) and I have yet to get sick of washing/looking/driving my car. My 1yr anniversary is coming up in two weeks and I still feel the the same way I did on day 1. I agree with jasonjm, do something to make you max more personal to you and you can bring back your Maxima spirit!!!

Every car I have owned....I PERSONALLY enjoy washing it, detailing it, and waxing it MYSELF....no one touches my cars and no auto belt driven car washes for me.

I just call it my time with the car....and to me, gives me a nice, peace with myself and the car. Lets you really appreciate a car....any car. Miss cleaning my BMW convert top....was a pain in the ***, but worth it.

I do know that it does get frusterating when it always seems to rain after you wash your car....LOL.

The thought of getting a new car ALWAYS flashes through my mind, but as each of those thoughts enter my brain I realize I would probably be saying the same thing about that car after a few months too. You just have to realize for every person with a 6th gen Maxima there's at least 6 other people who want one.

My max, even after months of detachment from driving due to college, has literally become an extension of myself. If I were to get a new car I would be losing a part of me and I'll be damned if that happened. (Unless......the replacement happened to be a Koenigsegg or CGT

I've had mine since July 2003. Its still a fantastic car. I always take a look over my shoulder after I park it and head inside.

The only replacement for the Max that I would concider is a G35 coupe.

Had my Max 1.5 years and I still LOVE it with the mods I've thrown on.

BUT...

Next year my best friend is selling me his 2002 M3 convertible with a hardtop extension, Dinan Intake and ECU. The price he's giving me on this bad boy is so cheap it's ridiculous (He's loaded)...

My MAX is going BYE BYE...

That is unless I can afford both

You are just behaving like most victims of marketing: they want you to buy a new car every TWO years!

Its ok. relax. Take a deep breath. There ya go.

Now wash your car and put a coat of wax on it before the winter hits. Then you can wash it again in the Spring and go..Wow! it looks like when I bought it new!

Reminds me- she needs a bath too. All the freakin fall leaves ... they get in the trunk lid hinge area....

Maybe you have represed emotions from when you were a kid playing kickball...

I chose my max over a G35 - G35 had no back seat to speak of, didn't like the styling as much, and the max had better features and a lower price. Why get a G35?

I don't wash my car very often... I live in an apartment, so I don't have access to a hose, and car washes around here are expensive - like 8 bucks. I really should, but damn, that gets expensive.
