04 trunk alignment (other tsb's)
04 trunk alignment (other tsb's)
Well, my new max will be making it's appearance at the local dealer for alignment (slight drift to the left), hard shifting when cold (both TSB's) AND trunk alignment.
While the trunk operates perfectly, it's obvious that it was put together 60 seconds before lunch on a Friday as it is not level (tilted slightly up on drivers side).
Any feedback from previous experience on this?
Thanks,
Dave

The gap between the bottom of my trunklid and the rear bumper is slightly greater on the left side than on the right, but the top of the trunklid is in perfect alignment with the fenders and the car body, so I don't see any easy solution for my situation. I just pretend things are fine.
I saw this problem on lots of '04s, but have not yet seen it on an '05.

I have to have my front hood aligned....it's a bit off. It's a brand new 05 SE in silver fully loaded except for the nav...Rust proofed ruberized undercoating (does sound proofing too) FSB Berk CAI , Trenz chrome grille, Silver Painted calipers
